Daniel sophomores, Jordan McLane, Melanie McKinnon, Malak Mohammed, Addie Nebesky, and Chloe Prosser represented the Pickens County Career and Technology Center Bio-Medical Track at the HOSA State Leadership Conference from March 13-15 in Charleston SC. They competed in the PSA (Public Service Announcement) event and placed 1st out of over 20 teams from all over SC. They are the only team from CTC to advance to compete at the ILC (International Leadership Conference) in Houston, Texas in June 2024. The team will be recognized for this achievement at the SDPC Board Meeting on March 25.

D.W. Daniel High School 2023-24 Graduation is Saturday, May 25, 2024 and will take place at Littlejohn Coliseum at 4:30pm.
This year's Physics Six Flags field trip is April 19th. Money and permission slips are due by April 11th. See Mrs. Henry if you have questions.
Our community art show will take place at Daniel High School on March 12th, from 5:30 - 7:00pm. There will be selected artworks on display from Central Academy of the Arts, Clemson Elementary, Six Mile Elementary, R.C. Edwards Middle School, and D.W. Daniel High School. The awards presentation will start at 6:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please join the string orchestras from R.C. Edwards Middle School & Daniel High School for a concert Tuesday March 19 at 6:30 PM in the DHS Auditorium. These talented musicians will be performing classics by J.S. Bach, Gustav Holst, Mozart, etc. along with Celtic/Irish music. We hope to see you at the concert.

Congratulations to the D.W. Daniel High School Lady Lions for their incredible achievement in advancing to the Upper State Championship. It is a testament to their hard work over the season and the support of their coaches, families, and fans.
In celebration of the Lady Lions' success, students whose guardian submits a (paper copy) parent note to main office for Tuesday February, 27 will receive an approved absence for the day. Students will be expected to make up missing assignments within 5 schools days.

Buff Puff is an all guys volleyball team coached by members of the girls volleyball team. Registration for Buff Puff will be on February 19th. Practices will start on February 27th. Practice dates will vary based on your grade. There is only one practice per grade. GROUPME chats will be made when teams are assigned.
