Today we celebrate School Lunch Hero Day! Our dedicated cafeteria staff work hard every day to provide nutritious, balanced meals to our students all while working within strict guidelines and regulations. They serve our students with kindness, excellent humor and lots of patience during those hectic lunch periods! Our faculty, staff and students are so thankful for each of them every day!

Please join me in welcoming Mr. Sam Lepa, our new Assistant Principal at D.W. Daniel High School! Mr. Lepa and his family will be moving to South Carolina from Minnesota. He attended the University of Northwestern in St. Paul for his undergrad and Concordia University for his graduate work. Sam is currently Activities Director at Annandale Public Schools and prior to that spent 8 years as a social studies teacher, instructional leader, and coach at the high school level. Sam and his wife Kelsey have 3 children, Everly (7), Cal (5), and Lucy (3). They enjoy hiking as a family, being active in church, and attending school activities. Mr. Lepa tells us, "I am most excited about being a part of the great culture and passion for excellence that exists at Daniel to serve students and staff to strive to be their best every day". Welcome Mr. Lepa!

Please join Ms. Elliott’s Theatre 3/4H class for TWO nights of student directed, designed, and produced one-acts! Each night will hold different shows, but you’re guaranteed a great time no matter when you go; Thursday will be two dramatic one acts with one comedic one act, and Friday will be three comedic one acts. Tickets are “pay what you can,” and all proceeds will go directly to helping the future of the Daniel Theatre program. We hope to see you there!
