Wren Hershberger Named as Student of the Week
Daniel High School is proud to announce that Wren Hershberger has been named as Student of the Week for the week of May 20. Wren is a senior at Daniel and plans to attend Clemson University in the fall to major in nursing. She is a member of the Interact Club at Daniel and has taken a demanding schedule of advanced classes.
Although Wren only attended Daniel for her senior year, she moved to Clemson from Bluffton last summer, she has become very popular with both her peers and her teachers during her time at our school. She was described by one teacher as "a terrific student, mature and polite, and really caring about others." Another says that she is "very diligent in her work, a wonderful student."
Wren's senior project this week was said to be one of the best of the Class of 2013. For this project, Wren chose to practice for and complete a half-marathon, a run of more than 13 miles. Her English teacher said that her project "best embodied the Senior Project idea. She really took this as an opportunity to learn and grow." Congratulations Wren!
